教育学院的使命是培养具有灵活性的终身反思型教育工作者, compassion, collaboration, 以学生为中心的教学知识和技能. 教育学院提供丰富的体验式课程, student-centered, 响应式课程帮助学生发展:

教育辅修课程满足了希望将教育作为职业的学生以及希望在K-12学校之外从事教学工作的学生的需求.

Numerous institutions need teacher expertise to develop and deliver professional development; educate patients/clients, support immigrant agencies; design curricular materials for the government, environmental, or charitable agencies; and/or work overseas in an educational capacity.

有许多其他环境使用教育技能，包括卫生保健, museums, environmental programs, social agencies, 儿童或青少年在集体之家, non-profit associations, and human resource departments. 专业的学术领域，如数学与计算机技能相结合，可能会导致利用教育原理设计软件的职业.
